Get Involved in our Environment
Organisations have a big part to play in helping to protect our environment and our life-giving ecosystems. Here is our list of 10 things you can do to help make make a difference:
- Adopt a Sustainability Policy.
- Implement a recycling process.
- Review your energy use and see how you can reduce this.
- Understand your supply chains.
- Review your procurement policies, processes and agreements.
- Conduct a high level scoping exercise to understand what climate change hazards your organisation is exposed to.
- Conduct in depth scenario testing to identify your organisation’s vulnerabilities under different possible climate change scenarios.
- Develop a plan to manage climate change risks, now and into the future.
- Include sustainability/climate change/environment in the organisation’s reporting.
- Develop a Climate Change Action Plan.
