InConsult are proud to be the principal sponsor of the industry-leading, Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Local Government Internal Audit Forum 2015 to be held in Sydney on 5 November 2015. 

This annual forum, is now in its 7th year, brings together the management and technical aspects that are defining local government internal audit and governance arrangements.

Taking the theme of “Getting Fit for Purpose” this year’s forum will provide:

  • Management sessions on addressing the challenge of amalgamations, effective risk management and performance improvement
  • Technical content covering issues such as asset management, IT governance, auditing and capital projects
  • Interactive panel discussions diverse stakeholders providing first-hand commentary on the key issues
  • Local Government practitioners and technical experts providing key learnings and practical examples on the key issues of the day

The forum provides a unique opportunity for all governance stakeholders within the sector including mayors, general managers, councillors, audit committee members and internal audit, risk, compliance and governance professionals, to gather to address the current and emerging risk, internal audit and governance issues impacting upon the local government sector.
